Filipino actor and leading man, Ejay Falcon, recently created a buzz among Filipino fans after his guest appearance in the hit Korean drama “Where Stars Land" finally aired on Korean television via SBS.
“This, for me, is achievement unlocked. I am very blessed to be given this opportunity. I would like to thank ABS-CBN and everyone who worked so hard for this to happen.”, Ejay exclaims.
The episode, which came first in its time slot last Oct 9 with ratings of 7.2% and 9%, saw Ejay play a man who was denied entry to Korea while his wife was about to give birth to their child.
The 28-year-old actor, who was catapulted to fame after winning a popular reality TV show, was able to showcase his acting prowess in action, after a breathtaking fight scene with Korean star Lee Je Hoon, and also in drama after his character's tear-jerking reunion with his wife, played by Filipina actress Lauren Young.
Fans were all praises for his performance and shared how proud they were that Ejay was able to showcase Filipino talent on the international stage.
FNC Entertainment tapped Fan Girl Asia, a team who has been assisting in bringing Korean stars to the Philippines, to help them look for a Filipino actor to play the role. “Ejay Falcon is perfect for it. We have received great feedback on his performance from the Korean production.”, said Gigi Dimaano-Melodias, General Manager of Fan Girl Asia.
In 2012, Ejay got his first lead role on Philippine television with the series entitled “Raging Blood”. He also starred in the Philippine version of “Pasion De Amor” and in the recently concluded “The Blood Sisters” to name a few.
