ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc.’s “Just the 3 of Us” has officially entered blockbuster territory, earning $4.9 million at the worldwide box office. Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the romantic comedy opened in 300 cinemas worldwide and was able to earn $2.1 million on its first week.
Top-billed by the undisputed box office king John Lloyd Cruz and back to back Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actress Jennlyn Mercardo, “Just the 3 of Us” tells the story of how one night changed the lives of two strangers forever. Chronicling their journey to love and self-discovery, the movie shows how a reserved pilot and a quirky flight stewardess managed to reconcile their differences and fall in love with each other’s flaws and imperfections, proving that opposites do attract.
The film was also simultaneously released internationally in selected cinemas in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States, as well as in the Middle East, Europe and Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands.
“Just the 3 of Us” is now available for worldwide distribution via the ABS-CBN International Distribution. For in-flight screening, it will be available this September 2016.
